Best Agents & Settings by Role
The essentials for VALORANT.
Role starters
Duelist: Jett / Raze for entry. Controller: Omen / Brimstone for smokes. Initiator: Sova / Fade for info. Sentinel: Killjoy / Cypher for site lock. Pick by what your team lacks.
Settings for low latency
Display Mode Fullscreen, Material/Detail Low, and "Limit FPS" set to your refresh + 10. Turn off V-Sync and motion blur. Enable raw mouse input and 800 DPI / 0.4–0.5 sens.
Crosshair & keybinds
Use a fixed crosshair (no gap growth) and a clearly contrasting color per map. Put "Use" and "Spike" on easy keys; many pros bind abilities to mouse side-buttons.
