Storage & install notes

A few practical notes that the spec sheet leaves out.

Storage

Light on GPU but RAM-hungry on big custom maps with many zombies. 16 GB recommended.

SSD or HDD?

Modern AAA titles stream assets constantly. An SSD (NVMe preferred) cuts load times and eliminates texture-pop and stutter that an HDD causes — especially in open-world games. If the spec lists "SSD required," an HDD will not run it well.

Will it run on your rig?

A quick read for three common hardware tiers.

Entry (GTX 1060 / RX 580 class)

Meets or exceeds the minimum. Expect playable framerates at 1080p with medium settings. Runs comfortably.

Mainstream (RTX 3060 / RX 6600 class)

Around the recommended tier. Targets 1080p High or 1440p Medium at 60 FPS in most scenes.

Enthusiast (RTX 4070 / RX 6800 XT class)

Well above recommended. Comfortable at 1440p Ultra or 4K with upscaling and frame generation where supported.
