Storage
Install footprint: 125 GB SSD. PC port was handled in-house by Team Ninja; frame pacing is best above 60 FPS.
SSD or HDD?
Modern titles stream assets constantly. An SSD (NVMe preferred) cuts load times and eliminates texture-pop and stutter that an HDD causes — especially in open-world and UE5/RE Engine titles. If the spec implies "SSD required," an HDD will not run it well.

Will it run on your rig?
A quick read for three common hardware tiers.
Entry (GTX 1060 6GB class)
Meets or approaches the minimum. Expect playable framerates at 1080p with medium settings. Above 1080p will be a struggle on this tier — lean on upscaling.
Mainstream (RTX 3060 Ti 8GB class)
Around the recommended tier. Targets 1080p High or 1440p Medium at 58 FPS ballpark in most scenes. An upscaler (DLSS / FSR / XeSS) pushes 1440p Higher comfortably.
Enthusiast (RTX 4070 / RX 7800 XT class)
Well above recommended. Comfortable at 1440p Ultra or 4K with upscaling and frame generation where supported. You will be limited by the display, not the GPU, in most scenes.
Bottom line
If your GPU is at or above the recommended RTX 3060 Ti 8GB class and you have the 125 GB SSD of SSD space free, Nioh 3 will run well. Below minimum, fix hardware first — no setting change recovers a missing SSD pagefile or a sub-minimum GPU.
