Best Early Builds

The essentials for Elden Ring.

Quality / STR-DEX starter

Vigor to 25 first, then pump STR and DEX evenly. A reinforced weapon like the Lordsworn’s Greatsword carries you to mid-game. Use the Whetstone to add affinities.

Magic (Int) rush

Grab the Meteorite Staff and Rock Sling in Caelid early — free, no stats needed. Push Vigor and Mind, then Int. Renna’s quest unlocks the best summon.

Summoner / spirit focus

Invest in Vigor + Mind and lean on Spirit Ashes (Wolf, Banished Knight). The jellyfish and jellyfish-crystal combo melt early bosses.
